Information Security Analyst in Rotterdam,

Role Overview:
The Information Security Analyst will be responsible for supporting the co-ordination and delivery of the organization’s security program within LKQ Europe.
The Information Security Analyst will work as part of the European arm of a Global Information Security team, alongside IT and business teams, to identify and reduce security related risks and support achievement of organizational security goals.

Key Responsibilities:
• Working alongside Corporate Security, regional business and IT teams to implement and operate controls to identify security risks and drive compliance in security
policies
• Actively engaging in business and IT projects to ensure appropriate security deliverables are produced and risk is mitigated by providing technical analysis of security mechanisms and architectural designs
• Taking an advisory role with the implementation of secure solutions and remediation of security gaps
• Supporting the implementation of new security initiatives in accordance with agreed timelines and budget
• Co-ordinating security risk management activities and assisting with the maintenance of the Information Security Risk Register
• Supporting security event investigation and incident response processes - ensuring events are investigated in a timely manner and incidents are reported and managed in line with corporate policies
• Assisting with ongoing security related education, training and awareness activities
• Providing support for security related queries in the region
• Undertaking and completing all reasonable requests and tasks within the capability of the postholder
• Participating in the continuation of professional development to develop own skills and competencies in the role and for career progression within LKQ IT
• Supporting the development of others within the team
• Occasionally travelling to attend appropriate business meetings
• Embedding and embracing LKQ Europe’s cultures and values as we move towards one company with shared visions and goals.

Key and Desired Skills:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an information security role or other similar role in a multi-company/ multi-national environment
• Familiarity of common information security and compliance standards such as ISO27001, PCI-DSS and S-OX
• Good organization and time management skills
• Ability to understand and prioritize business
demand while effectively managing expectations
• Familiarity of application related security principles and related architectures
• An ability to analyze security related datasets in an effective manner
• Broad knowledge of security and infrastructure tools, techniques and principles
• Excellent analytical and logical capability
• Excellent communication skills, both written
and verbal, with strong command of English
• Self-motivated with an outstanding attention to detail.
